Katherin Martinez, MFT
Therapist (bilingual)
I’m Katherine Martinez, a Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering space for every client I meet. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in May 2023, and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Marital and Family Therapy (DMFT) at Loma Linda University. Alongside my clinical training, I am also a Christian counselor and welcome any opportunity to integrate faith with evidence-based psychoeducation for clients who desire that support. At the same time, I warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life. My commitment is to ensure you feel respected, understood, and heard throughout your therapeutic journey.
I have experience working with at-risk youth, families, and individuals across a wide range of clinical needs. My background includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), conduct disorder (CD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and many other diagnoses. I am trained in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), including specialized ESFT work with ASD populations. I also enjoy working from Solution-Focused Brief Family Therapy (SFBFT) and Narrative Therapy frameworks, helping clients rewrite unhelpful stories, recognize their strengths, and move toward the lives they want with clarity and confidence.
As a therapist, I genuinely believe that healing happens through collaboration, curiosity, and connection. My goal is to both challenge and support you—creating a space where you can grow, reflect, and discover new possibilities for yourself and your relationships. I offer sessions in English and Spanish, and I take great joy in making therapy a place where clients feel valued, uplifted, and empowered.
Whether you’re seeking support for life transitions, emotional struggles, spiritual concerns, or family dynamics, I’m here to walk alongside you. You deserve to thrive, and I’m honored to be part of your journey.
